Mother’s Day in Nanaimo

I celebrated my first Mother’s Day in Nanaimo with the kiddies. Masayuki enjoyed his first swing ride while Cody and Reina played around him. Lili stayed close to the food.

Family Road Trip

In March, we were lucky enough to take a roadtrip to visit our favorite little Californian – Ryan. Here is the cutie savoring a banana. He has grown so much since the blueberry series. Thanks again for sharing your home with us.

We passed through Portland, where we sampled food trucks and Voodoo Doughnuts. Ryoh’s favorite was the bacon doughnut.

Lili Quinn

Welcome to the family Lili Quinn.  Our newest niece looks just like her brother and sister.  Super adorable, and likely another handful.

Cody and Reina

We attempted to do a photo shoot with the kiddies, but… they were grumpy and wandered away from the scene. Oddly enough some of the best photos were taken on the iPhone afterwards. Both had just waken up from a nap. Cody was still grumpy, while Reina was alert and happy. She made her brother smile.

Break from renovation

Day 3 of our renovation. We seem to be on schedule, although we were hoping to be finished painting by tonight: don’t think that’s going to happen. The good news is we are under budget. Yay!

So we bought a table from Nood. That we will pick up and assemble later this week.

After painting, we have some furniture to assemble from Ikea and mount stuff on the wall.

We want to be done with everything by Thursday evening and have everything cleaned up for the sofa we expect to be delivered Friday.

But, for now, we are taking a brunch break at John’s Place
